Please read these terms and conditions carefully before using the Bihar Sathi mobile application or website operated by PragatiPath Solutions.

Aasan Bhasha Mein: Yeh niyam (rules) hain app ko use karne ke liye. Bihar Sathi sirf ek app hai jo driver aur customer ko milata hai. Hum kisi bhi gaadi ke maalik nahi hain.

1. Nature of the Service

Bihar Sathi operates as a technology platform (an aggregator) connecting independent driver partners with customers seeking transportation. Bihar Sathi does not own the vehicles nor does it employ the drivers. The transportation service is provided entirely by the driver.

2. User Accounts & Eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and use the service.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your OTP and account details.
  • You agree to provide accurate and up-to-date information during registration.

3. Fares & Payments

The fare displayed on the app before booking is an estimate or a fixed upfront fare, calculated based on distance, time, and current demand. Customers agree to pay the indicated fare upon completion of the trip. Drivers agree to collect only the fare shown in the app.

Fare Rules: App mein jo fare dikhega, wahi dena hai. Driver aapse extra bargaining nahi kar sakte, aur aap bhi fare kam karne ki zidd nahi karenge.

4. Cancellation Policy

A customer may cancel a ride request free of charge within a specific grace period (usually 5 minutes) after a driver is assigned. Cancellations made after this period, or after the driver has reached the pickup point, may incur a cancellation fee to compensate the driver's fuel and time.

5. User Conduct

While using the Bihar Sathi service, users (both customers and drivers) agree to behave respectfully. Bihar Sathi reserves the right to suspend or ban any user who engages in:

  • Abusive language, harassment, or threats.
  • Damage to the driver's vehicle.
  • Refusal to pay the fare.
  • Operating the app fraudulently (e.g., booking fake rides).
Strict Action: Agar kisi ne fake ride book ki, gaali-galoch ki, ya safety rules tode, toh hum account permanently block kar denge aur kanooni karyawahi bhi ho sakti hai.

6. Limitation of Liability

While we strive to vet all driver partners and provide safety features (like OTP and SOS), Bihar Sathi is not liable for the actions, omissions, or behavior of drivers or customers. We do not guarantee the quality, suitability, or safety of the transportation services provided by third-party drivers.
